In a 50 km range, from the flat plain of the Po river to the green hills and mountains of its province, you can findclear traces of past epochs, treasures of great painters such as Caravaggio, Correggio and Parmigianino, medieval castles and fortresses, and splendid examples of religious, military and courtly architecture.
Already famous in Roman times for its thermal baths, Parma has a wealth of spa amenities - from the purely therapeutic right throughto more elaborate wellness centres.
